hi there

high tone which I do not know where comes from in the engine.
Hope can give me answers as where in the engine sound is coming from.
it is not turbo or Alternator but beside Alternator or above

Hello there!

That's a bit odd... have you checked the water pump bearings and the alternator bearings? Have you checked the alternator belt?

in all honesty dude these cars are shit but they have so much character, are fun and go fairly well when running right. we still play around with these things because they are a fun addictive little shitbox! :D - Ash

Yes water pump and alternator is new.
I think it's the oil pump are finished, because when the belt are taken off, the noise are the same

Ah, OK! In that case, I think you may be right! Not much else that can be broken there without immediately causing any further dramas with the engine.

Unfortunately no, I did't start the engine for 14 days and the sound disappeared, but the sound comes back quiet and pump is replaced.
Just don't know what is so wrong :cry:

Have you checked the timing chain tensioner bearing. I have notice my car making a howling noise around the alt. but couldnt find it. I pulled of the bearing and it sounds dry. I havent started my car yet to see if it was the noise.

Man I wish. I'm an old skool backyard Mechanic. My ols Datsun Stanza had a Timing chain, and I'll prob always call them that. and the bearing tensioner whatever its still a bearing.
