If you need more rust don't bother stripping it, you can buy paint at bunnings with iron filings in it which gives an awesome rusty look without actually fucking up the bonnet.
I know it's not as hardcore but still..

i have a shitty boot and bonnet (the ones i had matte black a lil while ago), that i started stripping tonight, but ran out of paint stripper. never seen that paint with iron filings tho, will have to check it outAndroid 360 wrote:Nice one dude. proper rusty as in all over?15exa wrote:i getcha.............

Where did you see that? I think you have seen an N12 with block heater. Some lazy people over here retract the removable part (yes, the _removable_ part) of the block heater cable under the bonnet and leave the power plug hanging out between the bonnet and the top of either headlight. The phenomenon seems to have disappeared though, the last time I've seen a car like that is at least 5 years ago.15exa wrote:huh?.............. was it some sort of electric n12 or sumthin?dexi_styles wrote:

Sorry for the hijack 15exa, I seem to have a bad habit of hijacking peoples' threads.

in all honesty dude these cars are shit but they have so much character, are fun and go fairly well when running right. we still play around with these things because they are a fun addictive little shitbox!
