Shocker Cover (<--- I think)

Post by SashET »

Hi All,

See the photo below of the black part on my shockers.

Image

I took my shocks into a place in castlemaine to get the springs changed over to standard. Now I didn't notice this until I put them back in, but the black part is missing from the passenger side.

Now I'm an idiot for not checking them but fook me, they must be so stupid to put the shocks back together without it too, even though one of them had it.

Question is, is the black part bolted together with the shocks or is it inserted on top and the squashes between the shocks and the car body?

BTW, I'm after on in Melb if anyone has one.

Cheers
Sash

Thanks m8, its getting cleaner.

Now that the car is sitting on stock shockers and springs, its all starting to get there. Although another inch off the front would look better.... lol

nah man i was joking its dangerous thing to do, iff you have too be dodgy
then get them compressed or better yet get springs made lower such as
king springs. I mean how often do you see vn/p/r/s commonwhores written off cause they loose controle doing 150kph around a corner, hit a bump and end up in the scenery. Not good mate, go the safe route
