clutch

Post by poeticjustice88 »

ok i know this has been covered time and time again. but i figure most of those forums were old entries, some as old as 2007 so a refresher may be in need

put my foot on the loud pedal tonight, and she ran beautifully until the mid to top of 4th gear where the clutch started to slip

i dont like button clutches simply because of the reduced/altered driveability of the car. but i am after something that is strong.

my ET may not be the fastest out the car, but it definately has some nuts so i want something that can handle the current power, and "most" of the upgrades that i will be throwing at it.

i know NPC clutches is a viable choice, but if anyone knows of an "off the shelf" item that is above par for HD applications, please let me know.

thanks all, again
Michael

i ran one in mine 160odd hp, never had a problem.
I understand the need for conformity. Without a concise set of rules to follow we would probably all have to resort to common sense.
