Dude
There is so nothing special about these cars mechanically speaking.

Anybody who can pick up a spanner will be able to do all jobs on the car.
pay your money and take your choice.

They still did the job didnt they? Mebbe not the way you wanted but they did it.
The very minute you want something done that is not bone stock opens a big can of worms.
A custom manifold or even a simple dump is NOT a simple and basic job.
I can tell you after making this:

And this:

And NO, I wont make any more for anybody so dont ask!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

basically, you just got gypped M8.

My point is anybody with a workshop can fix these most basic and simple little cars.
Whether they do a good job or the right job or they gyp you off is just luck of the draw Im afraid.

Yep. I'm sick of lazy rip-off merchants vandalising my car too.

i got a choice its the whole bottom end with the turbo as well or i change a few things such as the ring gear turbo clutch, the thing is i got a whole bottom end with a new clutch and ring gear on it. i guess it depends if they are willing to help.

p.s i would come and help and learn to the best of my ability and pay the person in repayments even writing up a contract so either one of once gets f*#ked around.

yeah that sounds like you might need to speak to a few ppl.

I know the guys at EFI are good. Prob allow ya to pop in on occasion but you'd have to have a chat to them bout hanging around. The Guy to speak to there is Rick, like i said the fella has had a few ET's before. He'll take the time out to speak to you about ya car n what you wanna do.
