teh n13 ownz you all :D ( 56k go have a sleap)

Post by BQ.05.TD »

here is some pics of the nugget

when i got it it had a stock ca in it with rb25 turbo ( teh worst) 2.5" dump going int o the stock 2" zorst ( ghey) microtech, supra intercooler and 10 psi boost

the car run like shit cause it had never been propley tuned as in port mac there is no close dynos,
Image
Image
Image
Image

so 1 first thing i did was get it tuned, we did a run and it made 98kw on 10 psi bwahahahaha wat a nugget, so with a full tune on 15 psi we got 135kw out of it, not to bad i spose
Image

ran around like that for a little while, went threw one box
Image

then 3 days after the box blew the turbo died on me, so decided to go big :D

turbo is a garrett gt2876r .64 rear housing rated a 480hp
Image

new 2540 and old t03
Image

its sitting on a custom equal length 3mm thick steam pipe manifold, with full 3'' system from turbo back

this is from underneath the car looking at the manifold

this is wat it looked like once the turbo was fitted

Image
Image

haha this is the 2876 and a stock t02 turbo of my old et

Image

fullboost at 1500rpm FTMFWYO
Image

so i drove around with the new turbo on and 3'' zorst for a while untuned and a dyno come was on so chucked it on and made 177hp on 12 psi and leaning out,

Image

so after that i put it on the dyno and put some fuel into itso it wasnt leaning out and put 15 psi threw it and made 160kw, wasnt to bad at all, turbo comes on nice and strong,
Image

but it was time to ditch the old shit cooler st up and go a decent size and style of cooler

Image

580x180x65 2.5" outlets, picked it up for $95 from ebay, wat a score

i mounted the cooler in a V style as to get a thermo fan on the radiator as the one before it was in front of the cooler and heating things up

Image
Image
Image
Image

this is the old ghay set up

Image

these are pics from when the pipes were getting made, all alloy 2.5" pipes with hidden sard R2D2 BOV under headlight

Image
Image
Image
Image

this is wat we got out of it with a full tune on 16 psi 174kw

Image

the turbosmart duel stage i have cant control it any more, so eboost is coming very soon along with some spitfire coil packs, as going over 17 psi was blowing out spark, will be geting colder plugs to morro as well

but im more then happy with how it turned out,

since that tune i get spit fire coil packs last week and they are going good with a set of 7 heat range plugs

other mods it has

suspension and brakes:
every rubber bush that can be replaced with noltech or nolathane bushes was,
lowered with lovel low springs with some sort of pedders strut
stock brakes with bendix advance B pads ( have gtir calipers to get fitted)

engine
s13 ca18det
gt2876r
3" turbo back zorst
gtr 444cc injectors
walbro 500hp fuel pump
microtech mtx8 re programed for lt8 lap top tuning ( one of the last mtech ever did)
580x180x65 cooler with alloy piping
sard r2d2 bov

so thats all i can realy think about now, its a awesome car to drive and handles very well for souch little work to suspension

KTHXBI

I understand the need for conformity. Without a concise set of rules to follow we would probably all have to resort to common sense.

Awesome stuff Justin, how much did the pro-coating cost?
If you wanna sell your old coil pack gimme a yell - I would like to have some spares .... although maybe I should get some decent ones too.
You'll love the e-Boost man - piss easy to use. Although I kept forgetting to knock it up to the 2nd set point when i got into 3rd at the track.

So the beast came from up here? Do you know the name of the guy you got it from?

Cheers mate

Yeah, was thinking of having a switch I can activate with my foot to go up to the next set point. Is a bastard reaching for the little tiny button on the front just as you hit 3rd and torque steer all over the shop.
