the little box thingy's are relays mate, if they are clicking they are most probably working.
search on dizzy probs plus check your ecu and afm plugs for a start

i had same problem. broken fusable links.. everything worked except it wouldn't turn over. they are thich green brown and white wires that come off your positive battery terminal..

also check the ignition fuse hasn't gone.

accully i was trying to keep it as brief as possible...and hope you's diddn't ask.....

yeah......after i changed all the little thingys.....same,
so a looked under the bonnet(again)for ages just tracing wires trying to find a loose connection to somthing somewere.

after much stress and many flying spaners later,
turned out to be the little wire on the starter motor

funny thing, used to happen on 1 of my dattos all the time, without big cooler pipes and crazy wire looms in the way it was much easyer to spot on the datto.

i have the same prob as loneret have a had a looksie and to be honest i have no idea what im meant to be lookin at other than the wire on the stater motor is on and everything else seems to be connected i then looked near the fuse box after a bit of unraviling i found that i have 4 extra fuses and a big black box under there plus a whole heap of wires not goin to anything i have a mate who is a auto elec but i'll be waiting for ever for him so im having a good old dip at it myself, and because everything is so tight up there i cant get my boof head in there or pull it down to have a look at what it is any help would be muchly appreciated cause it's just plain annoying the shit out of me.

I had some electrical hassles for a bit... thought it was the relays, then the fusible links...

Turned out to be a busted battery terminal : /
