My new daily driver

Post by nvious »

Name: Jon
Location: Brisbane
Year/ Model: 1985 ET Turbo
Colour: Silver, soon to be Gunmetal
Period of ownership: 2 weeks.

Performance: Drives fine.

Engine Mods: Cannon muffler, oil catch can, gold intercooler piping, small side-made front mounted intercooler, turbosmart bov, dirty pod filter. Missing washer bottle (anyone know where the wiring is for the washer bottle?)
Interior Mods: Headunit, speakers, speaker wires. Had neon lights but i threw them out. Aftermarket steering wheel, water temp gauge; threw that out. Boost gauge.

Exterior Mods: Had wrx bonnet scoop; threw that out. and some side vents on the bonnet; threw that out.

Wheels: Don't know, but if anyone wants to buy them feel free to post here or PM. Tyres are very roadworthy. Rears are near new! fronts are about 80%.

Other: Very straight and not much rust for it's age.

Future Plans: Bought it as a daily as the evo sucks too much juice, got a mate to paint it in a colour that I haven't seen any ET's painted in (gunmetal) before. Limo tint, Clean up the interior and engine bay. Make it look decent. Probably after it's painted I'll send it off to have air conditioning installed. Have always been a fan of ET turbos as my older brother Chris had one which is still in the Top 10, so that's where I found my love for ET's.

All worries Dan.

My aim is pretty much to get it looking REAL clean.

Finished painting it today but I haven't gone to see it yet but apparently it looks awesome.
