Regrinding a cam is normal and perfectly acceptable.

IF they are quoting 100 bucks a grind, ill send over about 5 cams to be done.
Aske them again. 100 is too cheap.

i got myne done for free :P as i was a Ginnie pig lol and they stuffed it lol get it done at the rite place and make shore they come highly recomended
when it comes to mecanical mods it is really inportant to get it done rite other wise money is lost as you have a munched motor.

But as damo has stated b4 in the past that he actully found for street driving the standered cam wins hands down as you get the power where you need it off boost your not waiting for everything to catch up with it, in the long term (correct me if im wrong) will allow your motor to last longer as its not have to work all the time in order to get up in the revs now i have driven with the standered cam and with a shaved camm although the left a divet on a lobe witch in tern made the lifter bloody noisy i actully like damo found it more drivable with a standered cam the only gain i found with a shaved cam was that it had that loverly bop bop bop bop at idle that 90% of cam byres love lol but if i wanted that in high form i will just pull a lead of when i rock up to a cruze lol other then that the rite exust and you will find that the e15et actuly has that from stock they are a rather lumpy motor.

thankyou

ET...Lumpy engine stock??? Hawhawhawhaw! i dont think so m8. they use the same cam as the NA.
NOTHING lumpy about that.
If they are running lumpy they are out of tune!!!
