microtech handcontroller cable

cut a long story short, dog chewed up my cable for my hand controller.......

i tried an interface cable i had layin around home but didnt work, supplies power but no info display....

is there any other option without having to go through microtech? (knowing microtech though probably not)..........

if any one has one they wanna part with let me know please

If it uses a standard DB9 plug (sometimes called serial) you should be able to figure which wire goes were or maybe find this info on the web. Then just go to jaycar/radioparts/dicksmith/....buy the ends and crimp it up. should be less than $20

Null Modem Cable is what your after.
Jaycar are cheap for this.
