tyre size help

Post by L0stwhite »

whats the best tyre size to put on a standard N12. I use it for standard every day driving nothing else. The 2 rims i got to choose from are:

13 inch standed rims dont know minimum and maximum tyre size would like to know though.

also

14inch rims that can have a tyre size of:
min - 175/60/14
max - 195/60/14
I can play with the profile obviously

thanks again guys just want to hear it from the pros of the N12 world.

had 195 on 14" et rims they scrubbed the shock cover on the rears (lowered inch & a half) had to settle for 185. front wheel well has more room than the rear
I understand the need for conformity. Without a concise set of rules to follow we would probably all have to resort to common sense.

I think you'll want to put 185/60/14... otherwise your speedo readout will be a lot too high!

in all honesty dude these cars are shit but they have so much character, are fun and go fairly well when running right. we still play around with these things because they are a fun addictive little shitbox! :D - Ash

i had 195/60/14s on the rear but they rubbed the shock cover so i put the 185/60/14 on the rear and the 195 on the front, the reason being the guy i got the tyres from only had them (195) so i had no choice but a quik switch and it was good as ..worked out good cause i had slighty wider wheels on the front which as we all know is better for traction.. and they were on the standard ET rims
Drrat, Drrat and Double Drrrat !! dont just sit there mutley do something!!!
