How much was boring out of the block and acl pistons for 40thou oversize? thanks

pay around $300 for each

i got duralites for mine $260 a set, rings and pins incl
I understand the need for conformity. Without a concise set of rules to follow we would probably all have to resort to common sense.

when you buy them do you just quote n12 40thou oversize or is there a mesurement in mm of the piston? thanks

last time i checked it was about $200 for 40thou but thats from memory and im in newcastle tho cheers leayr

any other recomendations that you guys recomend while the engine is out

ive got a mls head gasket

new nissan head bolts

will take the head to get checked and machined (refaced) already ported and polished

im not sure what size cam is in i will have to check i have a spare cam ill take a pic of it if anyone can confirm if its the stock one

anything else that i should consider?

bearings, all the other gaskets, headwork or at least new valve stem seals. cleaning up the crank, shot peening rods, balancing the rotating assy.

what do u want to do with it?

yeah i have acl cast pistons standard rods blanced rotating assembly. major head work aftermarket manifolds. with 17psi it made 210 hp so just make the motor strong and run big boost. lol but i will let u know how it goes when i wind the boost to 25psi.

whats included in the rotating assembly and how much did balancing cost? what is involved in the major head work?
