Anti Lift Kit for ET pulsar
Anti Lift Kit for ET pulsar
Yes as we all know front wheel drives that have power like to get a bit of wheel spin. I am keen on lowering the amount of wheel spin one gets when taking off.
As my car is not standard and is modded, it does get abit and in the wet almost 80% wheel spin.
now i hear that anti lift kits stop the front of the car from raising so much, consequently keeping the wheels on the road and less (wheel spin)
*What is an average price for these
*has anyone here done it yet to their car
*are they easy to install and how much will I get out from it?
cheers peepz!

Creating "anti lift" is about changing the geometry of the suspension to move the instantanious centre of rotation (in the front to rear plane) such that accelerating actually causes the car to squat rather than lift. Sound tricky? well it is a bit and not always good for handling. I'm not sure how it's done on mac struts, or even if it's possible. Most common is "anti dive", which squats the rear to stop that lift under braking. This is actually standard on a few cars now, BA falcon has "anti dive" geometry.
If your serious about this then do some serious google searches ( try anti lift and Macpherson strut) . Don't look for a kit 'cause there won't be one for the ET, instead figure out how it works and see wht you need to change to get, the see if you can get the bits.
Ohh and the other suggestions so far aren't anti lift, they just mask the cause and work with differing degrees.
