OK.
The T66 now lives on the engine.
Of course, nothing is that easy and I had to fabricate an entire,y new oil drain adapter. The existing one has the same flange shape but the tube is bent at a funky angle and this angle hits the compressor housing on the much larger T66.
Fuckit, chop it all up, find a new peice of bent tube and TIG it up.
Yay!
Next issue was the dump pipe. I just cut the old flange off and ground off the old wastegate tube, cut out a small chunk of 3" tube as a patch and tig'ed the patch over the hole. Not as neat as Id like but i dont care. Function over form.
Just had to add 50mm of pipe to the inlet end of the dump and then weld on the V-band ring.
This time, I re-installed the entire zorst system and tightened it all up THEN inserted the last bit between the turbo and the dump, tightened the V-band clamp and tacked it into position.
Unbolt the dump at the front joint, finish of the welds and cool, it fits back into position...hooray!
I gave it another run up and it purrs like before but the engine has a missfire under any kind of power.
Its still running way lean everywhere except idle where it runs fine so I have to get the laptop back out and do some more coarse tuning before hooking up the WB02 and controller and letting it do its adaptive tuning thing.
Newhoo, heres what it looks like under the bonnet now from the front:
And from the side:
Decent sized sucker. That inlet is 66mm I.D!
I need a new pod filter before I give it a drive tho. One to fit over the 4" snout of the turbo.
More later.

That'll give a decent boost.
