Car gets smokey after long idle or restart!

Hey everyone!

As the title suggests i my ET is starting to get smokey if it is idling for too long, or if i drive the car turn it off then restart it.

I have just replaced the valve stem seals about 100 km ago and it didn't change a thing. I am using Valvoline 20w50 full mineral oil.

Anyone got and suggestions?

Id be thinking a smokey turbo M8.

I agree.

I had that happen to me and its the turbo. Well it was for me.

Go to the silvia website and get a new/second hand one for a couple of hundred.

Or ebay.

Wicked fellas, thanks for the reply's.

Would it be worth my while upgrading to a t25 while i have this one off? I haven't really got any plans in the future to intercool it, i just want to enjoy it for a while.

I was running the standard turbo at 10psi, would it be worth getting the t25 to run at the same pressure?
