GTIR to N12 conversion

Post by RotaFreak »

Im just gonna put this question out there as curious to know if anybody has heard of/seen or built a N12 and converted to 4wd GTIR running gear.
I know its pretty crazy and would require a fair amount of work but in saying that crazier things have been built for example I have seen a photo from over seas of a GTIR pulsar with Ferrari engine in the back!! Opinions and or photos please......

i was looking at this but decided not too as the cost of the Gtir floor pan welded in was the cost of a Gtir rolling shell.

As my pulsar is not an ET I am not waisting anything special by building something a little different out of it, The thought of going RWD has crossed my mind and maybe something to look into a little further but thought a 4wd N12 would be something pretty awesome (not just another GTIR) if you know what I meen...

a full tube car would be an idea but he wants to convert the n12 and that is the only way to do it, pretty much and keep it legal.

Hey its all possible if your willing to put the work in,
Before I decided to do the Prairie, I was looking at doing a crazzzzzzzzy show drag car with two motors,
looked at a corolla or ET and dropping a second motor in the back,
and doing it with a budget of $10,000.
Its all possible if you are willing to put the elbow grease in LOl
