That KDR30 Super Silhouette sure is beautiful! I can see where you've got your main inspiration from, Mike!
Found an article about the KDR30, according to this article it didn't have the FJ20ET as the R30 Super 2000 had, but instead a LZ20B.

Keep up the good work Mike, it's going to be a heck of a Pulsar!

Well.. umm.... thats about as much a DR30 as i am the president of the USA!
Its a "sillhouette" tubeframed race car kinda like a latter day sports sedan, loosely based on the R30 Skyline shape. They are pretty much one-off builds.
The "sillhouette" moniker alludes to the outline (sillhouette) of the original cars shape that must be included in the race cars shape.
The Skyline range that was powered by the mighty FJ20et was designated DR30
L series Nissan engines are actually pretty good clobber but look like dinky toys when compared to the FJ iron!
Long live the FJ!

Meh don't apologize, the reply was very poorly worded and it does in fact sound like he was saying the race car had the FJ
Of course it isn't actually a DR30, just like the v8 supercar series doesn't contain a single commodore or falcon.
Doesn't mean you can't call it that.
And besides, nowadays you'd be crazy to go FJ with the multitude of better engines available for cheaper.
Can we get back on topic now?
