Actually, Its not new by any stretch but a handy bit of kit anyway.

A M8 of mine down here has been making poppet valve bovs for years.
He starts with very large external wastegates and alters them to work as a bov.
They do what they are supposed to do.
A 50mm poppet valve style wastegate flows an enourmous amount of flow at very low lift.

Ah, I see! Since I'm not in contact with any people from the racing world, I haven't seen this kind of BOVs before, thought it was a new idea.

heheheh no not really but they dont make enough "pschtt" for most of the rice boys henc not the well known.
