you can get done for seat belts... missing locks, anything if its not safe its defectablesamwdg wrote:wow never heard of getting defected for horn or seat belts!
in NSW you only get defected for BOV's, pod filters, bald tyres, loud cannons and really lame stuff lol. The stupid cops here that dont know crap think BOV's let off exhaust gasses...
yeh there just more into defecting harmless mods down this way.dexi_styles wrote:you can get done for seat belts... missing locks, anything if its not safe its defectablesamwdg wrote:wow never heard of getting defected for horn or seat belts!

You're lucky Sam, should've been around here 10 - 12 years back.
I once picked up 23 defects in one sitting on my gemini rally car.
Frayed seatbelts was one of 'em.
Another stupid one was my spotlights. I'd installed 4 that arvo, got as far as wiring 2 of 'em in properly then it started to rain so I quit for the day. Therefore the centre 2 didn't come on when they went over the car (due to no friggin' wires) I explained it to the cop, but he wrote me a slip for them being defective anyways ("they didn't turn on boy, therefore they're defective")
