supercharged old mr2's rocked. definately a fantastic car in anyones book. you can tell its a car designed and built by drivers for drivers and not built and designed by a finance manager.

everything from the interior to the suspension was done properly (which isn't usuall for toyota at all) and i believe the MR2 is about the only car toyota make that doesn't have a vasy unimaginative grey dash..... lol.

haha, bloody oath, alotta cars have that vastly unimaginative grey dash tho, i was astounded at how long and boring my friends Nissan 180SX dash was, the only thing that made it interesting was the bits of glue still lingering there fron the previous owners efforts to cover the dash in a zebra fur.
or was it cheetah?

i dunno, but i have seen it before, Bart that works for Exhaust technologies used to own a white S13 Silvia with the SR20 rocker cover painted in Zebra stripes, and car right through out was covered in Zebra fur.

but it was written off recently, and no longer puts 300+ kws to the wheels.

i think the engine was alright, so hes lookin for a new shell.
somebody went into the side of him at an intersection, bent the car good.

and yeah Ben, love those old Toyotas, of only they were as cheap as the N12 Exa, i would be buying one in a second.

they do look like they were built for La Mons 24hour.
love em.

Guy I work with recently got an old school supercharged MR2 for $2K
Needed a head gasket. Now he's got himself a sweet little ride! Mind you, the hassle of doing the head gasket nearly made him grenade the car!

yep they are not easy to work on.... the rear boot means you can only get at each side, tahts from experience with my sw20 (see my avtar), but the AW11, which is a corrolla engine mounted in the back of a car, would be just as hard!
