Looking good so far! :D

Great idea to install those mirrors! Probably gives a better view of what's happening behind and beside the car too! 8)

The black bumpers look great, are you going to attach side guards too?

I meant those black bars that come on the side of the car (between front and rear wheels) from factory. Those that are supposed to protect the doors and the side from being hit by other people's doors at a parking lot.

i'm glad you've got the right idea, I'm going to comment and watch people get angry.....

fender mirrors - awesome start! well done! And you got black ones which is good, chrome ones are for taxis!

u want jdm? get rid of the awful green!!!! paint it black again!
If you can't afford a full paint job, then make things that should be black, black again... bumpers, wing mirrors, wipers, door handles, bonnet vents etc. I see you've done the bumpers already - top job!

if you want a bit of colour or want to accentuate the car's lines, research race inspired graphics from the 80's and go nuts. look at the factory option vinyls for the exa and use them as a base for your design, they follow the shape perfectly and add to the look.

clear indicators aren't jdm. japanese domestic market always got yellow indicators, put ur orange ones back on and find some full amber front corner indicators.

chopped up bumper with a massive bucktooth intercooler out the front is full leb/islander spec. get a complete front bumper and a front lip, paint your cooler black and hide it. A massive shiny thing jutting out ruins the sleek likes a 'jdm' inspired car needs. Celebrate the natural beauty of your car!

when you get your wheels, don't buy nasty aussie or chinese wheels, it's easy, but it is also the easiest way to fail. buy some real japanese rims off yahoo japan. it's cheaper than you think. get the rims in a decent offset, they need to be flush. max diameter is 15" unless you are drifting or you are VIP etc, a small car never gets huge wheels, they don't make sense.

get a deep dish steering wheel, a small dildo gearknob (150mm) and if you want race seats go for something old like the fishnet recaros...or even sporty factory seats out of another car (i reckon the series 2 exa seats are awesome)... just don't get autobarn shit. get rid of the supercheap auto pedals, use the factory ones, they are great! paint that silver shit in the interior a nice satin black.

your tacho, ditch it - you've already got one. your boost gauge, get a black one and mount it in the dash near your headunit.

get a japanese digital clock instead of the analogue.

sound system.... ditch the door speakers & mount 4" speakers in your dash where they belong. if you want rear speakers get some parcel shelf boxed speakers, i'm not talking autobarn mdf, i'm talking about the enclosed plastic box ones. head unit should be something discreet with the features you need, look for a standard headunit out of a later model car.

LOW! lower it now! down to the minimum! :D

exhaust.. cannons have no place on your car, if you want it loud, get a baffled big bore muffler, mount it more towards the front and have longer tips so you can only see pipe. it will be cheaper than a fart can and it will sound so much better!

dunno if you were considering a bov? don't.....

That's all i can be bothered typing.. hopefully some of it helps you.
If you want to discuss just PM me, i'll try and ignore this thread now as i know what type of comments will follow.

Nah, everybody knows you're a JDM fanatic. Let's hope nobody bursts into flame this time. Besides, that's a good list. Just don't be too hard on S.Breezy's car as it is, it does look great even if it doesn't fulfill your JDM specs.
