Hi all, just fit an 18" rim on the front of my car, its got 215/35 tires on it and it doesnt rub at all, just wana no wat i can do to fit them all round as the back dont fit witout rubbing...
All help will be much appreciated.....:D

i think you need to modify the rear control arms by shaving a bit out of them i think

Bahaha good luck with 18's..I have 17x7 with 205/40 all around and the front scrapes on full lock on the inner part but it's plastic so it's no dramas..BUT the rear is a POS..I have the rear lowered on king springs and it scrapes off it's head and even with the standard springs it's a bitch in driveways and speed humps..Let alone your going 18's then i pretty much think your up shit creek..IMOP 17's with standard suspension is a No No..Get coilovers and you should be alright..Big wheels on these cars is farking shit house!

in all honesty dude these cars are shit but they have so much character, are fun and go fairly well when running right. we still play around with these things because they are a fun addictive little shitbox! :D - Ash

Baz, I think i might go coilovers wen i got the funds, it's sittin on pedders all round as it is, but i havent taken it for a drive wit the 18's on the front yet, will soon...

there an how to in the article section i think on how to mod your trailing arms your probbily have trouble with it hitting the shot to so some 195 strected would be the go i rekon

roll the guards, mod lower control arms, remove top cover off shock and 5mm spacers.............

if you want them on that much and want your car to be driveable this what you have to do.........

Blue Et, I'll do you a swap for those tx5 turb rims on ur new et...:D

All, I think im gona just use the 18's on the front to get sum decent traction, then fit the rear when i have time an funds to do the mods...

You will have no chance with 18's on the rear without coilovers..Might need to add longer wheel studs and spacers and roll the rear guards..Have fun ha
