85'GOLD PULSAR TURBO "NEW OWNER"

Post by AntsET »

Hi turbo nuts! I'm the new owner of the 85' gold pulsar (mod plated) turbo (was running 120fwkw's) that was 4 sale in December last year. Wasn't running due 2 wiring probs but now she's running sweet! Just had a roady done on it on Saturday and only needs a few minor things done to register it (have spent many hours on this car already!!!) Still needs the front quarter panels replaced/straightened but apart from that its very straight and rust free. I want to post some pics but I have noooooo idea how to. Any help would b much appreciated.

I was just experimenting with photobucket the other day and managed to get some pics up for the first time. When you sign up and upload pics from your computer, each pic will have a box appear under it when you move the cursor over it. Select the IMG box, about 2nd up from the bottom and cut or copy the link and then past that link for each photo into your N12 thread. You may have to resize your pics first, I didn't and the pics came out to large on the forum but after resizing to medium, it seemed to fix them automatically on the forum (noone here has suggested they fixed them so I can only imagine that's what happened.) You'll have to experiment pending on your camera and pic quality. Medium for me are the pics in the General Tech thread titles "where do these go". Good luck, look forward to seeing the pics.

Cheers

To make the pics show up (embed them), stick the Image tags around each link.

Might as well edit them into your opening post while you're at it.

...By the way, your first link is borked cause it doesn't have either spaces, line breaks or tags on each side of it.

If you wanna get the hang of this stuff, check out the BBCode FAQ and/or just quote fancy posts.

I like the led indicators. Do you reckon that scoop gets the intercooler cool?

Thanks 4 the advice, I'll fix that up.
Unfortunately the LED's have to be replaced with standard one's 4 road-worthy. The scoop is very effective coz it sits directly over the cooler with a flap in the bonnet to force air through it.

Cheers.

The ET in the background is mine. I have a 83' exa turbo in the garage that I'm doing up 4 my sister (her first car!) and i'm using some parts from the ET (in the background) to finish it off. I'll b getting rid of that shell + parts when ive finished her car.

Looks interesting! I like the sleeper look, you'll surprise a lot of people with that :D

You've got exactly what I'm in the process of creating! This gives me more inspiration for my GL -> ET conversion project! :D

Good luck with both the GL and the EXA! It'll be interesting to follow! 8)
