Hahahha you only have a choice of a couple of bodies for those oversized go-karts which you have to use!
Ford, Commodore, FJ holden or some vintage Ford coupe thing I think!
FJ1200 Yamaha bike powered with a modified Celica diff from memory.
Phil Ward did a nice job with them I reckon. Excellent category.
130 odd HP and weighs around 450 kilos on Yoko Ao38/39's (whichever). Yeeehar! They lock brakes and move around on those big car tyres like a bitch which must make them mighty exciting to drive!
Kinda cool little jiggers. You guys will have a hoot with that. Good luck!

Bwaaaahahahahahaha its an Aussie Racing Car M8.
Read about 'em here!: http://www.aussieracingcars.com.au/
They often run as a support at the V8 rounds.
They cost about 45 grand to buy new and you get them as a "turnkey" car.
You cannot build your own nor change any components in them.
Ex Sprts sedan champ Phil Ward (of Phil Ward Turbo fame (on Parramatta rd in Croydon, one of the very first aftermarket turbo joints in Sydney)) came up with the concept for Australia and is the sole builders of the cars.
Awesome little category!

Update Time
Time to update.......
Not alot to report back on. The car is sitting in the panel shop, awaiting to be painted (the guy has been really busy with insurance work and it has let me save some cash). The old door hinges are absolutly rooted, front ones only. What sort of $$$ are you looking at for hinges?
Ive decided that once i get the car back, all together and running i will do a compression test, and if it is down, ill strip the engine and rebuild it. Im pretty sure that som more head work will improve the chances of big power. This along with a good tune. I thing ill be getting either dalton's or nispro to do it. Im open to comments on both places.
Ill be trying to be online a bit more ofter, and i see there are alot more members online now...great to see.
Cheers,
Kris

On a sader note. Rang Microtech this afternoon and found out that the MT8 cant run coils, has to use the dizzy (doesnt sound rite, anyway). The MTX8 can. Mine has a number written on the back of it so maybe it has had the conversion already done to it (i hope). If not ill have to do the best with what ive got.
Cheers,
Kris
