In all honesty I'd be interested to see how things would go against my VY SS in a straight line ;)

I've been playing around with her again, painted it red oxide primer a few months ago.

then metal flaked and lace the roof

and cream scallops on the body

I am in the process of pinstriping the scallops out with black. I will them add some pinstriping to the boot and bonnet, and a logo to the doors.

the wheels will also be painted with the same gold flake as the roof over the metallic maroon that's also used on the roof.

if you's want to see what has been keeping me busy besides my exa's, head over to my facebook page and give it a like....

hey yall. for everyone still loitering around the forum, im currently in the process of a mechanical upgrade, stepping up to E85.

i busted another 3rd gear, so i have rebuilt the box and fitted another locked diff.

i have also fitted achillies semi slicks.

i have fitted the spare power steering rack i have from the other convertible too. took a bit of work modifying the intermediate shaft and finding bushes to fit, but got there in the end.

currently freshening up the engine with new gaskets and bearings, everything looks to be in good nick other wise.

clutch will go in for a machine and check up before reinstalling.

1000cc injectors to be purchased, and intake plenum on standard runners will be made.

way overdue for exhaust manifold upgrade, so that will happen also.

more work TBA and pics soon

Sounds good mate, you wouldn't go a full custom plenum and runners? You could do them in 2 piece so the runners unbolt from the plenum, and have a range of different runner lengths to choose from for differing power/torque tunes.

yeah i though about it, i really like where the engine makes its torque though, and the amount, but see how it goes i guess, can always change it later
