WTF

Post by cmy48u »

I know aome people have there own taste but what was being achieved by this I don't understand http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Nissan-Exa-1985- ... 3f0932a916
Probably a good car to pick up to finish but I think that bodykit is sooooo horrible.
If at first you don't succeed, add more boost!

Heh... like the Exa can use a longer nose.

Me, I think I'm gonna go with a Pulsar front to shorten it...

I'm surprised nobody's done it with the slim lights... they look heaps better IMO.

Get that baby Skyline look happening.

I think that just about neatly wraps up this thread!!!!!!!!!!!!

What HE said!!!

There is a vast gulf between what looks "Ugly" and plain bad taste.
You and the likes of Kane have defined "ugly" in a way that can be really appreciated!

That EXA is a screaming statement in bad taste/judgement. To start with, anybody that would fit those hideous Veilside sideskirts to anything but a Supra has some considerable difficulty with reality!

Jarrat's (now demised) "CYBER" was actually a fairly good example of "overdone" actually looking cool.
Everthing worked together as a theme rather than some vomit inducing mishmash of parts thrown together with no commom "thread" tying the whole visual thing together.
I dislikes that CYBER intensely but it actually looked cool.........

This is the fine line that Kane very successfully tiptoes along with that Exa thing of his. Its a mishmash of bits and bobs but its tied together with a common theme.
Valentich is treading the same fine line. Its easier for him tho, as there is precious little, if ANYTHING to like about a fucking Prarie to begin with so its pretty hard to ruin what cannot be ruined in the first place!!!!!
To this end, I salute you M8.

However, the ugly trail has been blazed before you Valentich and I give you this:

You can thank the mighty Panda, well his brother Shaun anyway, for this... thi..... words fail me.... breathtaking bit of kit.

One thing tho, this thing has a boosted up full EVO spec motor innit punching something like 240 odd KW at the 4 wheels and so should be treated with mucho respect if you decide to pick on it. Youll have to come down to Tassie to be crucified and embarrassed by it tho.

Sheesh!
