I was chating to Michael about it, saying that 'he' would have to bring it up on the transbrake on the line when it first lined up. Was I wrong! Lights drop and BAM, full noise and the thing is on its way down the strip. I was convinced it must have a 50-100hp shot, or some serious anti lag. According to the peddler, 5000rpm stall, and the thing is on full song by 6k.shanec86 wrote:FKN LOL that holset on the rb30

Well, when you think about it, having a slow spooling laggy turbo would be a nice thing with a fundamentally powerful engine.
Lets face it, none of us can leave the line even in a stock shitter without peddling it due to too much torque and too little traction.
If you have to peddle too hard to maintain traction, you just go slower due to interrupting smooth power delivery and its no secret a skidding tyre generates significantly LESS traction/grip that one gripping.
You might find that this thing increases in RPM's fater than the turbo can spool up in lower gears.
My GT3540 cannot boost up hard in 1st gear and keep up with the engine revs increase so this i know. It actually aids traction!
It may be working well as a kind of faux "traction control".
Perhaps!
