Paint is the original color but it's freshly painted. The black part on the car must be resprayed again because it's painted to low, the line should be about 5cm higher. The original striping is very difficult to find but i found a black/orange striping in Australia for the underneath of the car and i will try that one on my car.

Car looks awesome, m8! You have some interesting rare interior stuff there... the cassette player is very rare in my country, I don't think I have seen a single one in Finland. The seat heater center console is probably very rare anywhere except for the Nordic countries, it's nice to see you got it installed. Is it all wired up, including the seat heater elements?

Congrats man, you've been waiting a long time for this moment!
IMO the EFI engines are so much better regarding reliability and running well compared to stock carb setups (of course some people may not agree with me on this point). I've had it with carbs, wanna get rid of my carb'd engine ASAP.
I'm happy that the seat heaters work, how does the seat upholstery look after installing the elements? (better than mine I suppose? )

Hi all! Tnx for the compliments, love it!
This week was MOT-time and it passed without any probs. I also did a valuation for the insurance to be sure i get the right money if something happens with the car. Hope it will reach about 8000 euro's.
After the valuation it was time for the first long drive to see the engine-builder for a check. It had a vacuum-leak and the valves are tapping a bit. Also did a whole check on the car and an oil-change. The first change was after 200km's and the oil came out very clean without any metal shine so all good! There was a major vacuumleak on the turbo and from the part from turbo to inlet-manifold. All is now good and the engine runs very stable now on idle. The turbo is now on 0.3 bar and will be set on 0.6 bar after 1500km's.
This weekend i went to a huge youngtimer-meeting nearby Germany. The trip was about 450km's with very hot weather and some MASSIVE rain and about 5km's standing traffic. The Car didn't give a f*ck and drove beautiful. On the german autobahn i drove about 20km's on a bit higher speed, about 160-170 under 4000rpm and also that wasn't a problem.
When home i noticed that the engine should be running a bit more smooth and the valves were tapping again. The timing was a bit off but after putting this on 14 degrees (on the safe side) it was running even smoother then before! In this weekend i did about 750km's and all without a drip of oil-use or coolent-use. The car drives delicious and with the monroe gas-shocks and the H&R springs the car is very good on the handling and even very comfortable. My Juke is much more stiffer to make my point.
I also got some new pictures of the car on the event. Soon i will get you also some interior pictures!
I can't wait to drive this car to France this summer! Taking my girlfriend, tent and bicycles with me

Congrats m8! Now you truly belong to this forum.
I wish you happy E15ET times! It would be fun to have a small E15ET-meeting somewhere in Europe as soon as I have money to finish off my E15ET project.

Hi all!
The car is doing great! Today i will do some service again, for example the timing (Tnx rice turbo)! I now also uses the lead-substance from Wynn's[:D] And in two weeks the downpipe will be changed by a 2.5" system, all the way till the first silencer, after that standard.
I now have done about 600 miles/1000km with my car and she still runs very sweet. No engine nois, just some tapping from the valves and no uses of any liquids!
Just have to look to the performance. She doesn't really want to go between the 2000 and 3000rpm and full throttle is giving less power then 1/2 throttle. Turbo coms in around 3500rpm and then she goes very hard! I do have to say that the T22 is in "safe" mode, very low pressure and pressure starts to build up very late. After 2000km i will set the turbo on it's high build-up. 0.6 bar and it will spool up way much quicker then!
Yesterday we had a big Nissan-meeting in the Netherlands. About 130 cars were there. Over here it was just about 9 degrees (coldest june-day since 1975) and even with the shitty rain and temperature there were a lot of cars over here!
There was also a show en shine contest and my Cherry did win the first price!! So happy and proud!!!

I also got back the insurance-valuation and it's VERY impressive! They say the car should be insured for €11.500! Love it!
Cheers,
A very proud Rens!

DUDE!! Double thumbs up. Nice work.
By the way, you won't need to use any lead substitute in the engine. Unleaded = no problems.
