So I felt it my job to make sure both bux were well rotten. We were up till 12:30 boozing on until we called it quits for the 5am start on the charter boat. I took a combo of Ginger tabs, Kwels and Trava Calm, and too my surprise they actualy worked. Felt uneasy, but didn't toss my cookies once.
The guys caught some dolphin fish while trawling, and a couple of nice Kingfish jigging. We ended up jigging around the couple of small islands of Port kembla. These were populated by a few fat ass seals.
Then Yash (one of the 7 mates on the boat) hooked a decent Kingy. He had it hooked for 3 minutes (before I busted out the camera) and it was peeling line off his rig! He would lean back and the drag would just slip. And when the fish wanted to go, he couldn't stop it. Then we spotted some unwelcome company, the seals had spotted the fish also. Bloke driving the boat backed it up to bring the fish closer to the boat so we could hook it, or at least scare of the seals. But they were persistant buggers.
