Nice finish, I don't see any ripples or other defects. Nicely done. :)

Hey

Post by Stuart »

Hey Callum,

Avoid the detergent at those car wash places.

I once washed my car and it stripped all the wax off and wrecked the paint.

I had to cut and polish the car all over again.

I was told that the alkaline in the soap reacts with the red oxide.

Anyway, the car looks good mate.

Cheers,

Stu

hehe yeah stuart i remembered you tellin me that so i just sprayed it down and chamoised(not the correct spelling i know) it and it came out good so i think ill just do that every so often.

by the way i just put a new tacho in that i got from ET87 ages ago cause the normal one would jump around after 3500rpm problem solved!

yeah i know that from my old et, id do one thing and it would run great but then five mins later something stupid would happen like the time the radiator let go out of no where, that pissed me right off! didnt touch the car for about a month after that lol

but this one is different(touch wood) the only probs at the moment is it gets a bit hot after idling for a while and the tappets are bloody loud but thats it, great cars these things

hey guys

did the afm relo the other day with ET87 and i cant belive how much smoother the car is to drive!! I like it but one thing i noticed is the noise, it spooles louder then before but it lost its fully sick dose lol.
Hmmm might be time for the big front mount to fix that
