Another day of uni holidays, and i think i got alot accomplished. All the doors are off (inc mirrors and seals), front quarter panels, front and rear bumpers. Cracked the front windscreen taking the plastic strips off (geez the glass is thinner than any other front screen ive seen), so need a new one.

Bought a cooler of ebay, $152 delivered for a 450mm x 300mm x 76mm core. Looks nice, and ill get it on after the paint is done. should look nice.

I think tommorrow ill get all of the insides out. Im looking at redoing the door panels as they are a bit orse for wear, so can people post pics in the thread i start with prices if possible.

Cheers,
Kris

RUST...RUST...RUST

I think youve got the picture. Above the windscreen on the sil (surface rust), and below the windscreen (hole the way through), The ony option is to remove the dash and chop the rust out and weld some sheet in.

This is turning into a bloody large task. The car is so bare now, and the only thing i left inside has to come out now...The dash.

Ill take some pics today and post them.

Cheers,

Kris

BTW. the new colour is hermitage red. Its more red than brown

first time for me as well, on this car anyways, but by far the hardest. So many wires, i think i might have to cull a few of them, a few too many loose wires in there to. Plenty to do

Same places around the windscreen as mine. Bloody pisses me rite off! Except what imma do with the top corner rust is cut a massive chunk out of my parts car and weld it in to my driver :) hehehe
