nope it doesnt let it get past 20 Vaccum. the TPS isnt correct. its like when the stock ECU plays up and coughs and splatters.et_rider wrote:Just hit it with a hammer lol works a treatdexi_styles wrote:
I plugged in the ECU and gave it a test run. she starts but doggs when i give it a rev... Either the TPS isnt the right one and it needs a tune for my set up. So off it goes for now. back to stock for now just gotta clean the spark plugs cos the microtech flooded the plugs.

Ah, OK sorry m8. I often seem to stick my nose into things that I have nothing to do with. It just sounded like you meant that some cop is roaming our forums and searching for illegal bank transfers, "dark" (illegal) money, illegal activities, whatever. But it seems a bit unlikely since I haven't seen any such illegal activity here. And we're just a gang of enthusiasts, not a gang of criminals.PSYCHOTIC ANGEL wrote:nah i ment dexi?
Well I don't know what you were talking about, but I don't need to know either, that's your private business. Sorry for the intrusion.

Heh heh he ...."real" cops.
Dun matter if there was any coppers on here, 99% of you guys do the right thing anyways, so you've all got nothing to hide.
Especially in comparison to some of the crap that is spoken on some other forums.
Progress is looking good mate!

Just an update......
OK first I have bought new Central locking kit to replace my old incorrectly placed central locking. I have removed the old locks and put in the driver side two, I say FAR KING HAIL!!! these new 6.5KG load ones are heavy and good i made sure these ones are lined up straight so they don't bend the poles and stop moving to then stop working cos the main unit shuts down. Now to remember the exact position to put the passengers side locks in.
Now to the real reason 50% of owning an ET (or to you 6 towed Red necks, an EXA, heheheeheh, J/K). working under the bonnet.
I had recently blown an exhaust gasket, so I managed to have a spare paper thin one lying around so I did a Quick/ not so quick 4 day effort replace of the gasket.
After getting it done and having a Noice sound again. I Drove it hard, but not crazy burnouts hard just hard acceleration hard to then THREE days later Blow YET another gasket!!!!!
GRRRRRRRR
So now I decided to put to good use the heavy duty gaskets BennyET gave me with the Microtech.
I had a sus around there one day to find a head bolt was loose, so loose in fact that i could pull it out with out turning it.
So I decided to recoil the stud and this is what i ended up getting myself into...
I ended up snapping the oil return pipe just as I was about to put it all back together.
So I had to undo all the bolts to separate the exhaust housing from the turbo to remove the oil return pipe. as I was doing this I was having trouble undoing one of these bolts thinking I was gonna snap it undoing it, luckily I managed to get it out Thanks to my new best friend MR WD40.
SO I took the housing and oil return pipe to my local Turbo Guy... Mike Vine Turbo Chargers. 475 Redland Bay Rd, Capalaba, QLD (just a little Shout out for ppl wanna know a genuin down to earth turbo mechanic in South East Brisbane) to get the pipe welded and thread retapped for only $20. not bad at all.
So I decided to replace the Bolts, nuts and turbo gaskets...
SO, NOW.... my manifold gasket is NOT leaking BUTit has now come to my attention that my muffler has a hole in it, not noticed due to the loud leak in the manifold... so now I have to get that fixded.... aaaaat a later date.
AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST..... my Tattoo I have had for 7 years this month....
Hope i haven't bored you...

Seems so for me. Good old Nissan "Sky Blue". It has always been a pretty color
I'm thinking about installing central locking on mine, was that difficult to get to work? Do you know of any common Nissan model (other than B11 or N12, since B11s and N12s over here didn't come with electrical mirrors) that would have a suitable rubber hose which comes between the chassis and the door for the electrical wires?
Yep, I agree.dexi_styles wrote:the real reason 50% of owning an ET (or to you 6 towed Red necks, an EXA, heheheeheh, J/K). working under the bonnet.
