Are you just getting shifters and cutting them down with an angle grinder?

Hey Guys

I made one from the previous post's on this site. Cut and welded 20mm below the pivot point. Works like a gem, gearbox feels tight and short. If someone is making them to these specs, buy em.

I modded my shifter the same way.

hasnt broken on me yet, but i've heard of cases where the stick has snapped in traffic.

no signs of wear on my stick, but mod with caution.

I cant remeber how my old shifter felt like before the mod, so I cant advise on how great the mod is. :(

cheers

if there was change in the distance between gear shift or if there was a lighter weight in gears select, I cant tell.

seems to feel like a standard shift.

i need to shift on a standard stick to be honest.

its not as simple as just cutting down the top of the shifter. That would just make it a shorter gear stick but have no inpact on the changing.
