there was an old fast fours mag from the late 90's that had a silver mini with massive widebody. it had an E15ET and gearbox in it.

What a keen bit of kit.

There was a Mini running around in Sydney years ago with an entire Cordia Turbo engine/drivetrain!

They simply cut off the Mini at the firewall, shortened up the Cordia frontend to the Mini width (or thereabouts), welded the frontend onto the Mini body and somehow wrapped the mini guards and bonnet around the cordia powerplant.

I have not actually seen it but my M8 has and evidently this thing went pretty well and actually still looked like a Mini!!!

one of the mini club presidents in SA was reported to have a RWD 10A mini from way back. People do crazy things to mini's. they are so cool.

People do some crazy stuff with go-carts.

About 12 months ago, I seen a video of a guy who installed one of those illegal Pulse Jet engines onto his go-cart. They tested its functionality on a closed runway! It was pretty serious.

Actually, I am going to google it now!

I couldn't find the one I wanted to show you guys, but here is something similar:

http://www.techeblog.com/index.php/tech ... ed-go-kart

and

http://aardvark.co.nz/pjet/gokart.htm

There is heaps of them around on the internet.

Darren.
