Fitting Wheels (I Couldnt find the topic)

Post by RIP EAZY E »

Just wanted to know would the wheel size fit.

Wheel size:

14 x 6.0 Inch

+14 Offset

Stud pattern: 4x114.3

Would that fit an ET?

i couldn't say for sure, but im guessing with such an aggressive offset youd have to watch the guards youd have fair poke.. but also depends on the size of the tyre

a quick calculation on - http://www.rimsntires.com/specs.jsp basing stock specs at 195/60 5" +46 (correct me if im wrong) says with the same sized tyres that
100% clear (leaves even more room than OEM) < inner clearance
Package will stick out 32 mm (1.3'') farther < outer clearance
85 n12 n/a manual pulsar - extractors | muffler | coilovers <gone
86 n12 et pulsar - vl tb | pod | coilovers | full kit

96 te magna dumped on 18"s

Thanks for replying, When I get my ET back ill just have to go to a wheel shop and try it out... I know you can drill a new hole for your shocks to move in a bit but I dont want to do that :)

14x6 +14 is not gonna be any where near the suspension components!

i had a 15x6.5 +30 on in this pic.
your wheels will stick out 10mm further. you are gonna have a slight stretch on a low profile 14 to fit

Have you had trouble fitting the wheels with lowered springs? Im not sure if i should get lowered springs or standard. They are the same price but i would like to know if lowered springs will make the car scrape and not be an enjoyable car ride :D

Any help appreciated.

BTW the lowered springs are 25-30 mm lower then standard.
