ok, so i had a boost problem way back, max 3 psi, no power and ran better with the BOV vac line OFF!? never got around to sorting it, but i had to change my manifold gasket,

so i pulled the turbo out changed the gasket and put it all back in sweet.

i also swapped the AFM with a spare.....

took it for a blat and ran smooth and fuck me the power came back, hit 10psi, which it hasnt done for a long time, i thought maybe fixed the problem.... put her to bed to work on her today,

so i take her round the block.....

3psi again,, i thought what the fucken hell? with the cough and fart bog down when taking off,

changed BOV,as i thought it may be leaky, no difference with no real visible splits or leaking joiners either

my AFM is in the piping, but i doubt its causing a problem here... ive been told that it may be a leak between AFM and TB, only place it could leak would be BOV but iv swapped it out between my 2 with no change...

i went as far as removing the wastegate vac hose to see if it would make more......but no

vac line setup is right as far as im aware.......but it runs smoother with the BOV line off....

i told my EXA im gunna burn her very soon if she doesnt behave herself

I had a similar problem on my spare et. I bought the car in SA and it was running all well up until 1/4 of the trip back to melb.

3/4 remaining of the entire trip was running on 1-3 psi if that.

Boost only came back on again after i was a few km's away from home.

I believe it was just a dodgy turbo. Everything else seemed air tight. Upon inspection of the turbo...it had massive shaft play...and i dun think oil was being drained back into the sump properly...but instead overflowing and leaking out.

In conclusion...fucked turbo.

A long time ago I lost all boost. It was caused by the divider in the stock exhaust manifold cracking and a small peice about the size of a 5c coin fell into the exhaust wheel of the turbo.
Take your turbo out and check it over thoroughly.

iv got a tuned length manifold, with t3 turbo, so no didvider,

turbo is fine, no damge,cokiing or leaking, no play either
T3T4 hybrid, FMIC and MT8 =

yeh I do another AFM from another E15et. other than that there are no direct plug in units availiable that will work without any kinda mucking around
