Still studying at Uni, living in a share house at the moment, so working on either ET is a difficult task. I'm still trying to plan things out, and buy some items I need when I have the spare $$ (not much of that when you are a student). Between both ET's I have a complete original bodykit, so I'm looking at moulding it in Fibreglass and making new ones for both ET's. Just a matter of finding the Time, Money, and Room to do it.

Cheers
Jay

Already enjoying it. Been waiting a while to have my account approved by admin's, but in that time I have found many useful bits of info that I needed to get bits done on the ET.

Hey guys, just got an ET, needed something cheap to run, and *cough* reliable, to get me to and from TAFE this year, and UNI for 4 after that.
Hey Jay

Welcome man, funniest shit I've ever heard. Didn't you go on this site before buying, your first quote above was enough to make you look at every other car out there before this one and you still went and did it. Will be interesting to see which debt is biggest by the end of your Uni, HEX or the ET. Your first purchase should be membership of the RACQ and a laptop so you can ask "whats wrong with my ET" questions from the side of the road. But it's all good, they're a fun beast.

Good luck man and let's see some pics.

xr6eta - Did you see the price I paid? Was too good to refuse.

Ash - the elec windows are some universal thing that a previous owner installed, they work (just), but I'm going to rip them out and see if I can tweak them a bit, maybe the mounting points need to be moved slightly to get a nice smooth action.

Hello Jay!

Welcome to the forum! Hope you like it here!

So you got your N12 for free? Really? Awesome! :D

Agreed! Currently, I have a bigger debt for my N12 than for my University studies! Let's see how it goes for you. These N12:s have a tendency to eat money straight off your hands.

Cheers,
Jan

Well, I said goodbye to both of the ET's today.
New ride is a 1st Gen Mazda MX6 Turbo.

Maybe one day I'll get another N12, but until then I'll just troll the forum, adding my 1.75c wherever it isn't wanted or required.

Cheers
Jay
