side skirts

hey guys went n picked up a factory bodykit on the weekend, but the side skirts i picked up looks different 2 ones iv seen on here, the ones iv seen mostly look like the ones from pulsar parts, r the ones iv got original??

the pair i pick up were fooked so i fixed them up, just want 2 know were there different types when they came out back in the day

looks like you picked up skirts that were available for the astra, they look like the ones i had on my first n12 could be wrong though

ahh k... well i was thinking 2 make em look like the skirts from pulsar parts, iv had fibre glassing experience, tho what can i use to make a mold out of the flaps, cause i want the bit that sits up the the wheel arch, just want 2 make a mold 4 that n join it to the skirts,, is plaster n option??

you can make a mould with almost anything...

A good easy way is to use some of that expanding foam in a can. spray it into a plastic bag tie it off. Press your bit against the bag, thereby indenting the foam, keep it there until it sets...now you got a female mold.

here we go, my first attempt, now i fibre glassed the extra bit onto the side skirt while the skirts were sitting on its place on the car so it sits up firm agains the car n leaves no gap along the side wheel arch... i didnt get a spot of glass or resin on the car :D
