Na from what i have been told and have seen for my self you will always have a little movment well myne had movment from the day i put the new rings in, they dont seal up as such just sit snug in there own little hole.

and to steel your post if you dont mind could help you out in the future see how his gasket has blown between 3 and 4 i had every gasket i have had on the et apart from one do this any idea what can cause it

ps good stuff mate i remember having the head off and a new one back on and running for a cruze that night so you did well keep up the good work good to see enthusiasum

pss and take a picture of the turbs on its side so we can see the writing on it :D

I used to work in the automotive trade and I'm 99% sure that ACL don't make forged pistons. There more than likely duralites.

Always good to see someone else doing the work, wish I was that confident. I'm good at pulling shit apart but when I don't put it back together straight away, I forget where stuff goes. How hard is it getting the manifold off with the engine in, ie those nuts down the bottom at the back. I have a jap spec I should be putting on but just not that confident. Advice would be great. Good work.
