Yeah, that's the go... it's a little rough and has a bit of rust, so I should prolly fix it up first...
Dunno where to start really; it's a bitch trying to manage it outdoors.

So I swapped the interior back... had to re-do the the headlining, which involved getting the back window out, so I replaced it with my old non-tinted window... was lucky not to destroy the old windscreen surround; it's a bitch of a job. Got the front screen out to find a mile of rust... fixing that took a while.
Had to swap the driver's door too, and found a bit of rust under the upper hinge...
Body's pretty much sorted; there was another rust repair I had to do under the window behind the passenger door... interior's just about together, just have to put in my good dash and the front seats after I get the windscreen installed.
Now, I'm onto the hard bit... gotta swap the engine. I don't suppose anyone around my neck of the woods can lend me an engine hoist...?

Good to see you're getting rid of your rust holes, rust sucks. Our N12's seem to have a bad habit of rusting away, regardless of climate or continent. I wish they were made of carbon fiber or any material that doesn't rot away... sigh.
BTW, I too had rust under the upper hinge of the driver door, seems to be a place where all N12's rust sooner or later.

A 4WD and a rope onto the bottom of one of the struts, with a couple of guys helping tip it back over.
Prolly could have managed it with just four blokes, I reckon.
BTW, recently got a job and am approaching the point where I can start throwing money at the Exa again, so watch this space...

Job didn't last, went broke again until recently... hopefully I can maintain a decent income for long enough to get this fucker firing.

I'm working again, but not much... just gonna have to go into hock in order to get this thing going, cause my agent's given me a fortnight to get rid of the wreck... had to cough up for an engine crane yesterday.
So if anyone's interested in some bits, or the whole thing, post a reply in
this thread.

Tried to borrow one for ages... willdog almost came through for me, but his old man put the kybosh on it.
In the end I spent a couple of hours ringing around... best price for a new one was $320, and that was prolly a fair bit smaller than the one I have... after ringing around all the Cash Converters (a pawn shop chain), the last one on the list had one for $250, only a couple of suburbs away.
So anyway... how do you propose to drop in the V6 without a crane...?
