Short answer is they don't. All aftermarket ecus are illegal unless you get them certified which is big bikkies- and cos they are reprogrammable u cannot be locked.

I use and have used several differnt versions of wolf3d. Currently using a v400 cos there is no need to upgrade- I don't use all of the current features. Easy to setup and easy to tune. Also cheap.

I use an LT10 with x4 fond the lt10 on gumtree at the right price and the tuner I was using knew microtech well,another reason for the buy,so far I've been happy with it
best place to look for atfermarket ecu's is gumtree, Ebay or one of the 1000's of car forms on the net
haltech sprint500 if I had the funds

After alot of reading an research i have decided to go with the Haltech Sprint 500,. I will also be attempting to wire it up myself, i have the wire colours etc all worked out so it shouldn be to hard,

Hopefully can ask on here if i run into any issues.

good choice,
if you going to spend that sort of money get it wire up and tuned by the pro's it not worth the hassel it you fuck something up,which is very easy to do
