Ok, my bad. I misinterpreted that, sorry!

It still looks like a malware to me, and as I can't trigger it by going to n12turbo.com and going to the forums from there, I'm certain it can't be a virus on the n12turbo.com server/site. In this case, I would rather think that it originates in some software you have installed. Software installers are very often filled with adware and malware that install on your computer unless you remove a check from a checkbox, or many checks depending on the situation. And some of you might have a slight hardware failure that makes the computer even crash (bad RAM can do that).

To make my point clear, these strange computer problems often _appear_ to have a crystal clear cause. I hope you guys can find a solution to this problem, that problem must be very frustrating.

P.S. Sorry for "hijacking" the thread guys, it was not my intention to take the lead in discussion!

It's possible. If your antivirus software can't do anything about the popups, try running some antispyware software such as "windows defender" or "ad-aware". That way you _might_ get rid of the infection. I hope I've been of some help even though I tend to explain things too thoroughly  .

Hey Guys

Ok, I just went to log in and got this message

Web traffic scanning detected Trojan-Downloader.JS.Agent.clw. The content of the item was wiped automatically. This can happen, for example, if you browse to a website that tries to intrude your computer through a known vulnerability.

Name: Trojan-Downloader.JS.Agent.clw
Type: Virus
File: index.cgi?dx
Source: dniyehght.com

It opens another web page that is blank.
I run Firefox with the Security Package that Optus provide.

Hope this helps, it makes as much sense to me as my E15ET motor.

Ok now I actually got a message about that threat. But hey, to avoid that, just go directly to the forums (forum.n12turbo.com) and the virus does not show up (at least for me it doesn't). The main site has been quite dead for a while, not much to see there right now anyway. Ok admins, don't jump at me for criticizing the slow update rate of the main site! :P

Admins: remove that virus, the server seems to have become infected with that trojan. The forums don't seem to be on the same server as the trojan does not show up here. Correct me if I'm wrong. This is an issue that only can be corrected by those that run the website, please admins, do something (and also upgrade the server virus protection to something better)!

OK you lot ....
we're looking at where the file is hiding.
In the meantime .... If you are using Internet Explorer:
1. Give yourself an uppercut.
2. goto http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/ and get the latest updates.

And everyone goto - http://www.java.com/en/ and get the latest version.

Everyone who's not on IE keep your browser up to the current version also.
