Hey guys what's the easiest way to remove the studs out of the rear housing on the turbo?

the biggest bottle of CRC you can find and a vice

Step 1 - yep, lots of CRC / WD40 / Inox

if that doesnt work

Step 2 - Heat up the housing with an oxy and work it loose

if that doesnt work, or you've broken it

Step 3 - Drill down the centre of the stud and use an ezyout:

if that doesnt work

Step 4 - Buy a new turbo :P

Having never done this is the thread opposite way that you would undo the nut??

Well that was a suprise I didn't snap one stud:) just used a heap of wd40 and multi grips:)

locking up a set of nuts is a slightly better way to do it. It allows you to reuse the stud if you want.

The studs came out perfect it didn't even hurt the thread.. I'm re-using them in a different turbo now
