Injector Clips

Post by Cherry Boy »

Im haveing a major headache trying to get hold of these, the title isn't the best description so here goes.

Im looking for those little metal clips that hold the injector connector onto the injector. I can't find them anywhere. I have been to wreckers and none of the new cars have the same type of clips. If you guys know where I could get them please let me know.

The clips that hold the injector plug on the top of the injector?

The things that are the same shape as a staple?

yeah as shane said, buy 4 new plugs and solder them on
I understand the need for conformity. Without a concise set of rules to follow we would probably all have to resort to common sense.

hey mate,

i think they are all the same as in the other nissans.
if so, you should find plenty of them on the scrapyard in the folowing vehicles:

don't ask me why the n12 isn't on the list. it seems as if the clips(harness spring) were supplied only with the wiring harness back then :O

Are you sure about that mate? It's wuite hard finding even these cars these days. I will have to travel quite abit to a scrapyard for these cars. I should be able to find a 200sx some where will that work you think?

well i had to source some of these clips for my ca18de sunny not long ago.
i had luck finding some of the nissans from the list on scrapyards here around.

i'm not 100% sure, but i think the clips are pretty much the same as the e15et ones...?

I'd prolly have a go at securing em with wire in place of the clips.

Bit of a pain to undo and put back on, but it'd get you by.
