JUST NEED A QUESTION ANSWERED

Post by baz »

I've recently brought a n12 EXA 1894 model..now there is no foot rest and when you've been driving for a period of time my leg starts to ache from there being no where to rest my foot..I think my EXA is a serious 1 with the creamy door trims and gray seats..did the series 2 EXAS have a foot rest?..is there a foot rest that i could put there from maybe another car that would easily fix my problem?..or even so did the serious 2 EXAS have a foot rest?..also one last thing..my break light keeps coming on when i accelerate..(not hand break light) just the break light on the cluster..not always but fairly frequent..i got told maybe i have to much break fluid but its a little over half so maybe its something else?..any help would be much appreciated!

thanks guys

with the brake light on the dash, check to make sure the fluid is topped up to the max line, and the lid is secured properly, ive just had to replace the cap on mine as one clip was snapped causeing the light to stay on, and cause massive air bubbles in the brake lines making me bleed at least once every 2 weeks, what u got of the light coming on under accel, would be the fluid swashing around in the bottle as going away from the sensor when u accel

as far as foot rest, r u talking about the little thing on the left of the clutch pedal?, if its missing just visit ur local wrecker and get one from there, off any n12 series car would suit, exa/et/astra

I had that brake light thing a couple of years ago... Before you bleed the brakes, pull your centre console off. You will see a plug next to the handbrake. Pull this off, make sure its clean and put it back on. That fixed it for me.
