5'' monster tacho problem
i have a problem i have installed two tacho's and both light up but the rpm dosn't do anything i ran 1 of the wires to the coil 1 to the accserories and 1 to the ground and it still dosn't work help ??????????
have you set the tacho to read a 4cyl?
did you hook up the wire to the correct side of the coil?
did you hook up the wire to the correct side of the coil?

the main thing is... when i installed a tacho i ran the wire to negative of the coil and the needle jumped around to the shit and therefore was crap. Instead i spliced the wire in BEFORE the transistor atop the coil.. and all was good as gold. In other words the signal wire from ecu.

as said above, fuck the coil BS, find the factory tacho signal wire and use that. if you really want you can use a ring terminal and put it on the screw on the back of the cluster. look on the circuit and there will be one that says signal or something along those lines.

oh well i like the wog clock's becouse i am a wog and i do own a td slx gemini with a p port rotar and it will eat any et / exa you put up to it any way my turbo astra costed me $250 of a mate and it is just a thrashie i might just burn it IT'S JUST A SHIT BOX ET THAY ARE ALL CRAP NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO TO THEM.
