AE90 Steering Problems

Post by amraks »

few months back my girlfriends ex partner borrowed her car.

He ended up crashing it doing no noticeable damage.
Upon driving home he noticed it was a bit wonky in the steering.
He got home noticed the one of the steerings rod had bent, so he straightened that rod.

But its still not right, it is like the car is possessed because it will try steer different directions.

Could anyone here tell me if its the inner and outer rack ends that need replacing?

Is there more to it than I am seeing?

Thank you in advanced.

have you had the alignment checked? a very 'darty' car can be caused by lots of toe

If your tie rod or rack end is bent & he straightened it then his a total twat..Replace the bits that are bent & get a wheel alignment..fucking simple!
