hello guys,
knowing the e15et - n12turbo community for quite a long time already, i was wondering how many buddies here started their e15et-passion in the old eGroups-era e.g. ....

I joined up in the early YahooGroups Era.

Been here ever since, even when I had a 1988 Mazda Cosmo and then a 1985 Cosmo. Then I realised what I was missing out on and came back to the dark side.

joined mid yahoo groups era, i read the messages for a while before i even had the et.
i wanted one so bad, my first car took its 2nd hit in as many months while parked in the driveway. convinced it was jinxed i looked in the paper for an et, found it straight up and rang the guy. turned out it was a couple km's down the road. told him i'd be there in a few minutes and ended up buying a few days later :D
I understand the need for conformity. Without a concise set of rules to follow we would probably all have to resort to common sense.

I just looked up when I joined and it was Jun 29, 2001. At that stage I would have had my first car which was an 86' GL for 4 months. I used to ask the usual newbie questions about converting it to an e15et etc.. I decided against it.

Old timer here also, joined up at Yahoo when there were less than 2000 posts. I figured before I'd get in and start asking the stoopid Q's that I would have to read each and every post. Just went back and checked and it wasn't till mid oct 2000 that I responded with this.

"Wheew..... Just finished reading all the posts from #1. It`s
strange, cos now it seems that I have known you guys for months. I
must say that I have learnt some stuff that I didn`t know about the
good old E15ET. Hopefully I will be able to help out some of you
guys
also. Personally, I drive an ET, but anything with the E15ET is
cool. Keep the new ideas coming fellas."

Looking futher down that thread, someone hijacked it and said a "Hi I'm new also", and got a warm welcome from E and Glenn while no one paid any attention to me!! WTF guys!............................. :D
You damn punk ass biaaatch's are lucky I stuck it out yo! ROFLMAO
