Well, today, I finally got around to finishing off the install of the watercooler.
I only had to make some simple brackets to support the cooler to the old battery box but work has been busy and i have just not bothered.

I made some very simple supports whichg keep the cooler in place, tightened up a legion of hose clamps and fired the old bitch up.

Went for a drive this arvo and OMFG, I have never heard such a racket of flutter as from this sucker.
Dare i say "HECTIC" flutter. EVERY gearchange at anything above 2000rpm is greeted with a long and loud "choo choo choo choo choo" but at quite high frequency and its VERY LOUD!!!!!! The choofing goes on for a surprisingly long time too!..... sheesh! I tell you Josh, its a match for yours and thats saying something coz your is mad!

Farrrk, i gotta get my big fuckoff BOV onto this thing to quieten this chuffing down!!!!
Talk about fucken cop bait! Takes all the stealth factor out of the ute.........
Damn I love this not growing up thing!!!!!

*waiting for etrider to come in here and tell us how good flutter is*

Hahahaha but seriously, no one loves it more than him. I have always had it so i dont get that excited about it. i think the rb20/20 BOV noise is much nicer, a nice medium level whoosh sound we it releases.

Agreed!
I like the sound of a BOV. The ones that kinda just "sigh" when they go off!
Very cool.

yeah for some reason i just find it a bit more classy. The whole hectic dose flutter just seems a tad cheap an too boisterous. Im all about being subtle these days. I am getting old though. hahaha
