Gettu's B11 Sunny "Lebrick" Turbo
Fitted a N13 powered steering rack.
Minor modifications required. used N13 piping except for return line I used 10 mm copper piping.
parts required.
rack with piping, pump with bracket and pipe brackets. (off a N13)
new water pump pulley (off a N13 E16)
10mm copper pipe.
N13 steering column axle.
no welding of the axle was required. used parts from B11 axle and N13 axle + maxima (the same part as N13) knuckle.
some chassis modification was required to make clearence for the knuckle.
B11 tie rod ends fit the N13 tie rods.
and since the N12 and B11 share most of the chassis this should be doable to N12 also.
pics will happen.

Nice work!
I was always curious about this in my N12 with the CA18DET in it, the steering used to be super heavy at low speeds.

Dashboard with the new steering wheel (upholstered with some suede. DIY)
Here sits the POWERED steering rack.
pump and reservoir
The rod of a N13 fits the N12/B11 Tie rod end
Tight Fit
the belt and routing. water pump pulley is a two piece.
